The Department of Health & Human Performance continuously seeks opportunities for collaboration and outreach with external partners, in order to provide opportunities for its students, strengthen the departmental expertise, as well as to serve the greater community. Scholars from multiple academic and diverse disciplines conduct collaborative research projects, interventions, and programs with a particular emphasis on enhancing quality of life for people in underserved communities.

Service Learning

We provide factory resources to assist service-learning courses and incorporate SL into their research. The service-learning program promotes and support the growth of service-learning opportunities for students across the university.

Total Wellness

WellCats is the Texas State Employee Wellness Program designed to help you improve your overall health, and well being. Structured individual and group wellness activities available. Services are free to all benefit-eligible employees.
