Alumni Travel Support Fund is for research-related travel for our alumni. Alumni will be nominated by a faculty member and, if chosen, receive up to $300 dollars in travel support. The number and monetary value of awards will be determined by the chair and based on availability of departmental funds. Travel supported by this fund must meet all Texas State University Travel regulations.
Possible Scenario: A faculty member has been working with a graduate student on a research project which was accepted in November for a March conference. The graduate student graduates in December but has agreed to travel to the conference and present alongside the faculty member. This fund would allow Texas State to provide some financial support for new alumnus’ travel.
